Software Support Technician- Entry Level

POSITION SUMMARY:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Software Support Technician to provide technical support for our retail management software. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills and the ability to work effectively with both co-workers and end users.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Respond to phone calls and email inquiries from users to provide technical support and guidance.
- Log all incidents into the department call tracking system as per departmental standards.
- Assist in creating knowledge base articles related to current and future environments.
- Address unresolved issues from evening and weekend shifts.
- Identify and escalate any potential widespread issues to the Technical Support Manager.
- Support the Implementation/Training Team with customer issues.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Basic SQL knowledge is preferred.
- Experience with relational databases is a plus.
