Compensation: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour
We are seeking a Part-Time Maintenance Assistant to join our team and contribute to the overall success of our community by providing exceptional services to our Residents. This position involves working 18 hours per week and offers an opportunity to work alongside our experienced Maintenance Technicians.
Summary
The Maintenance Assistant, under the supervision of a higher-level Maintenance Technician, is responsible for providing basic repairs and preventative maintenance.
Duties
- Exterior painting of curbs, speedbumps as necessary
- Daily maintenance of common areas such as laundry rooms, office, community room, mailbox areas, parking lots, carports, trash, and recycling enclosures
- Keeping trash and recycling areas clean
- Winter snow and ice response as needed
- Assisting Maintenance Technicians with annual preventative maintenance program through unit inspections
Qualifications
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
- Proficiency in reading and understanding written instructions
- Capable of completing reports
- Effective communication skills with residents
