With over 25 years of professional experience in the saddle, I am well-versed in rough western riding, including tasks such as pushing cattle, riding fence lines, and navigating rough terrain. Additionally, I have extensive experience in various types of English riding and training.
My background includes working with a wide range of breeds, including mules, as well as interacting with animals such as cows, sheep, goats, and llamas.
In addition to my hands-on experience, I hold a degree in biology and have attended OSU Veterinary Medicine College, providing me with knowledge of potential ailments, treatments, and behavior specific to various animal breeds.
I am seeking paid or partial paid/trade opportunities in tuning, training, work riding, and farm/stable maintenance. I am capable of performing tasks such as feeding, cleaning, maintaining tack, working on fence lines, and handling yard work. I am also open to trade opportunities for non-arena riding experiences.
As a confident, calm, and sensitive rider, I prioritize understanding and meeting the needs of both owners and horses. I am responsive to specific cues and handling instructions, and I approach situations with a firm but gentle demeanor.
I am adaptable and able to work well with a diverse range of people, as well as animals that may not be people-friendly. Please feel free to reach out if you are interested in discussing potential arrangements. Thank you for considering my qualifications.
